"For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse." (Romans 1:20)

Have you ever stood outside on a clear night and just stared up at a sky full of stars? Or stopped long enough to notice the delicate little veins running through a single fallen leaf? In moments like that, we're doing more than admiring nature. We're actually listening to a message.

Creation never stops talking about its Creator.

King David caught this beautifully in the Psalms: "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands" (Psalm 19:1). It's almost impossible to live on this planet without bumping into the evidence of God. Nature isn't some cosmic accident. It's proof He's there. And David goes on to explain how the message travels: "Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard" (Psalm 19:1-3).

Think about that. Creation's voice reaches every corner of the globe, translating effortlessly into every language ever spoken. Standing in a thick forest, staring out at the ocean, watching a plain old sunset from your porch—nature is speaking to you. And when you really notice how precise, how balanced, how intricately tuned the world is, you land on a natural conclusion: this much design points to a Designer.

Paul says the same thing in Romans 1:20. God's invisible qualities—His eternal power, His divine nature—are made clear through the things He's made and through the way we ourselves are put together.

Because God has made Himself this obvious across the whole canvas of the universe, no one really gets to say they had no idea. He hasn't hidden from us. He's woven the truth of His existence right into the fabric of everyday life.

So what would happen if you let creation actually speak to you today?

Step outside for a minute. Slow down and look. Notice the fingerprint of God in the world around you and in your own life. Let the sheer wonder of it remind you how deeply He loves you and how boundless His power is. My hope is that this small pause tips you into genuine gratitude—thanking Him for how wonderfully He made everything, and for being kind enough to reveal Himself to you at all.
